Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use carefully before using the RoadVantage or BR Mobile applications created by Vantage Administration Services, LP (hereinafter referred to as “VAS Applications”). Your use of the VAS Applications indicates that you accept these terms. If you choose not to accept these terms, please do not use the VAS Applications.

INFORMATION USE

We collect user information in a manner consistent with the laws of the countries in which we do business. When you register as a user in the VAS Applications, we collect the personal information you give us including, but not limited to, your name, address, email address, phone number, product purchase information, vehicle-related data, and other relevant information. We use this information to make it easier for you to use the VAS Applications. You are not required to provide this information, but if you choose not to provide it, you may not be able to purchase products we provide or administer, we may not be able to process your claims, and we may not be able to respond to your questions. When you use the VAS Applications, we automatically receive analytical information on how you use the features available in the VAS Applications. We use this information to determine which features are helpful for your user experience and which are less helpful. This helps us to continually improve the application’s experience for all users. User information is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services the user has requested, or when the user has given us permission to share such information. This policy is not intended to place any limits on what we do with data that is aggregated and/or de-identified, so it is no longer associated with an identifiable user. If we do combine non-personal information with nonpublic personal information, the combined information will be treated as nonpublic personal information for as long as it remains combined.

DATA SECURITY

We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those persons who need to access that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards including data encryption to maintain the security of your nonpublic personal information and to any meet legal requirements. While we employ such procedures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that the information you submit to our website will be confidential or will not be transmitted to or intercepted by a third party.

Data Retention

We will retain your information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. We may also retain backup information related to you for fraud detection or to comply with applicable law or our internal security policies. If you have an account with us that has closed or a contract that we administer or in which we have obligations to you that has expired, we will continue to maintain your information under the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Tracking Technologies

Vantage Administration Services, LP and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the VAS Applications, track users’ movements around the VAS Applications, and to gather demographic information about our user base. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions in the VAS Applications. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to the user’s browser from a web site’s computers and stored on the user’s computer hard drive.

CONSENT

If you created a new account with us, you indicated your acceptance to the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. By providing data in the VAS Applications, you consent to the uses mentioned in this Privacy Policy. This consent provides us with the legal basis we require under applicable law to process your data. If you do not agree to our use of your personal data in line with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the VAS Applications. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing third party products and/or services, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to refuse. If you opt-in and later change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you and for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information at any time by contacting us at the email or address below under Contact Information.

Age of Consent

The VAS Applications are not intended to be used by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect nonpublic personal information from children under that age. We request that children under the age of 13 not submit any personal information to us. We will delete any nonpublic personal information for children under 13 inadvertently collected when we become aware of it.

DISCLOSURE

We disclose nonpublic personal information about you to third parties that are not affiliated with us only as permitted by law. Third parties not affiliated with us are companies not under common control or ownership of Vantage Administration Services, LP’s owners.

Disclosure for Legal Purposes

We may be required to disclose information to government entities in response to a subpoena, to fulfill a government requirement, to meet legal requirements, to defend our legal rights or property, or, in the case of an emergency, to protect the health and safety of the application users or the general public. In the event of or in connection with the sale, merger, spin-off or other corporate reorganization of our company, your information may be disclosed to the new controlling entity in the regular course of business. You may not opt out of our sharing your information for these purposes.

Disclosure to Other Parties

We use your nonpublic personal information and your nonpersonal information to fulfill your request(s), perform warranty claim services, or meet any of our obligations to you under the contracts we administer. We may also use your nonpublic personal information to give you a more customized, interactive experience with the VAS Applications, to help us develop new products and services, or to measure the effectiveness of our in-app advertising initiatives. We may use your nonpublic personal information for marketing purposes, targeting and retargeting, reporting, analytics, or other similar purposes. We may provide your information to our business partners, a dealership, service providers, actuaries, insurance companies that insure performance under our contracts, or affiliate companies so that they may assist us with these objectives. Third Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. If you use a third-party payment processor such as a credit card or payment service to make a payment to us, your nonpublic personal information will be shared with the payment processor. You may not opt out of our sharing your information for these purposes. Certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. We recommend that you read the third-party service providers’ privacy policies so you can understand the way your personal information will be handled by these providers. Remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. Once you leave the VAS Applications or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or the VAS Application’s Terms of Use. We recommend that you read any third-party website or application’s privacy policies to understand the way your personal information will be handled by such third parties.

Response to DNT Signals – California Residents’ Notice

We do not track our VAS Applications’ visitors over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising, so our website and applications do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party websites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. Third parties that have content embedded in the VAS Applications such as a social feature or a video provider, may set cookies on your browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited a specific website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other nonpublic personal information from our application unless you provide it to them directly.

REVIEWING YOUR INFORMATION

We try to maintain accurate information. You may contact us by the Contact Information means listed below to review the information we have related to you. You may request in writing that we correct or revise any information you believe is incorrect, if, upon investigation, we can verify that information needs to be changed, we will make the appropriate changes. If we do not revise the information as you request, you may file a written statement of the dispute with us and we will include that statement with any further disclosure of your information that we make where relevant.

PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy as we deem necessary. Any changes to this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use will be effective when the changes are posted in the VAS Applications. Such changes will apply to both information we currently hold, and information newly collected from the revision date.
